Kristen L. Moritz
Kristen Moritz is a trial attorney representing and advising clients in a variety of legal matters, including those involving professional liability, construction litigation, product liability, real estate and general liability.
Her clients include corporations, architects, engineers, contractors, construction managers, manufacturers, suppliers, and insurance companies. Kristen regularly works with insurance companies and third party administrators to defend contract, construction defect, personal injury, product liability, and property claims. She has successfully represented clients in jury trials, as well as before binding arbitration panels. Kristen has also argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Kristen is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania and West Virginia State and Federal Courts. She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny Bar Associations, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), The Defense Research Institute (DRI), and Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
Recently, Kristen was a presenter at the Pennsylvania Engineering Law Seminar, lecturing on the topic of Insurance Coverage for Design Professionals. She also recently authored a self-study course “Construction Site Injury Claims” which is published with CLM.
Kristen attended Duquesne University School of Law on a full-academic scholarship. She earned her Juris Doctorate and graduated cum laude. Prior to law school, Kristen attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a b.s. degree in Finance from the College of Business Administration. She was a recipient of the University Scholars scholarship.
In addition to providing real estate legal representation, Kristen also routinely provides settlement and title-related services to individual purchasers, sellers and lenders. She is a licensed title agent and member of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association (PLTA).
